Framed Chalkboard

Chalkboards are great around the home.  I've created my own DIY framed board for the kitchen to write reminder notes and shopping lists on.  Hung on the pantry door, here is the finished product!

I purchased the chalkboard at the dollar store, it came with an eraser and a package of chalk.

 The only supplies I needed were a hot glue gun and glue sticks.

An old shabby but chic white wooden frame was chosen to house the chalkboard.

I left the existing wooden frame around the chalkboard so I have a ledge to set a piece of chalk on inside the frame, it's about 1/4" thick.
